fireforming a 6.5-284

I have a LOT of Red Dot powder. Any suggestions on a starting load to fire form with creme of wheat?

10 gr. Move up from there if your shoulders don't fill out completely. I'm not sure that you should have to do this with a 6.5-284 tho'. - dan

I can't see why you would have to fireform a 6.5-284..it's a straight neckdown situation. I had a 25-284 and never fireformed for it. Squeeze down the necks, load and enjoy.

I'm with Rembo, 25-284 is a simple neck-down and load

plus you can buy Norma 6.5-284 brass

With Lapua, Norma and Hornady all making 6.5x284 brass of great quality why are you bothering?
