Will fireforming brass hurt barrels????????????? the cream of wheat way ? anyone fireform 300wsm brass , I have some 231 but dont know what the ratio should be used

Fire forming willnot hurt your barrel. I used 12 gr of lilgun to fireform 25-06AI brass, filled to bottom of neck with corn meal, plugged with 22 cotton patches, worked great. The most important step I learned was lube the cases otherwise I got primers backing out which means brass isn't headspaced properly and should be chucked imho.

Yes lube the case. I wipe them with synthetic grease... probably anything will work though.

I use just unique and one patch for my ppc.

Hint: not any room for any filler with the 220 russian > 6ppc blow out, the way I do it.

My hint is probably not the best for a larger case.
