I'm trying to find out if there are any barrel extensions for the firestar HGs? I haven't been able to come across anything - therefore just making these babies completely illegal here. Does anyone have any experience with a Firestar in Canada?

I have the M-43 in 9mm. The way the end of the barrell is machined to fit in the "bushing" end of the slide ( it is thicker on the end) makes me think you won't find anything aftermarket to fit. Star went T. U. about 1997. There was supposedly a company formed around the tooling that still made limited runs of some models and spare parts, under a different name (Ipar guns I think) but they seem to have disappeared too.

BTW, great little gun.
