firing pin question and FTF

so today i took the SKS out for some fun. put in 2 rounds of mfs soft point, and 3 surplus rounds, the mfs fired fine, then the first surplus round clicked but no boom. after a bit i ejected the round, fired off the next 2 no problem. i looked at the round and it had a slight mark on the primer.

i loaded a few more and again it did it, then fired 3 more no problem. same small mark, the spent casing had a nice divet.

i thought i had cleaned it well, it rattled freely, the only thing i did was replace the firing pin retaining bolt because the original fell out. could this have given a slight bit more movement in the firing pin causing occasional rotate or sticking? i put the original firing pin retaining bolt back in. but have yet to try it. any other ideas?

Trigger group, position in rifle. The firing pin just does what the hammer says, unless it is jammed solid.

Could be bad surplus ammo.

You did say that the MFS ammo worked just fine.

is there a way to position the trigger group? shall i remove and replace?
