First ar - 22 or conversion?

Looking into my first AR platform. Would prefer to shoot 22 lr. Would you recommend going with a dedicated ar style 22 like the coltm4. 22lr, sw mp15-22 or a colt m4 with a 22 conversion?
 
I run a Spike .22 conversion Kit in my AR, For me it lets me train with my AR on the cheap and everything is the same.

R or NR?

If you're looking for NR that you can plink with in the woods, you can get a 715T, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you are willing to shell out some dough, you can get yourself a Ruger 10/22 with the Archangel conversion kit. If you're looking for an R, why not get the real deal? Both can only be fired at the range anyway.

thanks, I don't know much about "lowers" and "uppers" I'll do some more research and keep reading the opinions on this thread :)
