I'm looking to build my first AR15, which will also be my first AR15 period. I would like it to be a fairly accurate rifle. I would like to keep it around 2500$. I would like to put a match barrel and match trigger in it. From what I've read Geiselle triggers seem to be good? Or what other one would you recommend? I also think I want to put a match barrel, what one and where would you pick yours? I really like the look of the Noveske or Vltor uppers, how do the guys who own those like them? What BCG and lower parts kit would you recommend? What buffer etc? Any other recommendations? Any input is appreciated, I've done a search on here but can't find exactly what I'm looking for so I am sorry in advance as I'm sure this is commonly asked. What companies do you find has the best stock and selection for parts? Anything to stay away from? Thanks for your help.

I can make some recommendations, but my first question would be, what style of shooting are you looking at? From run and gun to 600m precision shooting, the recommendations may vary.

Not to take the fun out of building your own, but with that nice budget there are a ton of very nice out of the box options.

Consider how much you'd be loping off your budget for specialized tools, headaches and waiting time for a tiny little part.

Just sayin...

$2500 will get you a very nice NIB LMT or, if you hunt around, a gently used Noveske. That said, if you want to proceed with the build, you won't be disappointed with a Geiselle trigger. I used a Vltor MUR upper for my last build. It is a very nice piece of kit. If you're looking to build a long range rig, I'd spend the biggest chunk of my budget on the barrel. The lower isn't as critical, although don't cheap out and buy a bargain bin LPK, you'll regret it. Good luck with the build!

As the 2 previous posters mentioned you could pickup a new/used piece of kit for that price.

Perhaps set your budget for $1500, for the rifle, to allow for an optic and spend the rest on tools and literature regarding the AR15 type rifle.
This would allow you to reverse learn the AR by pulling yours apart and putting back together plus you could swap triggers groups, barrel and hand guard (non-floating to floating).

The tools for working on ARs aren't terribly expensive but it will add up, you'll need:
- vice
- upper and lower vice blocks
- barrel nut wrench
- combi tool
- torque screw driver
- torque wrench
- hammer and punch set with support block

Other than some gun shops, you can pick up the tools from eBay or Brownells.

Just a suggestion as you didn't mention if you had any tools.

Yes I would definitely like to keep it below 2500$, and if I could do it for 1500 that would be great. I also had my optics in that budget as well. I didn't know you needed all those tools, but I have most of them other then the vice blocks and barrel wrench etc.

Do not build without the action blocks (or similar, such as the Geissele Reaction Rod) and a barrel wrench.
I guessed you had an optic in that build budget, or else you really would be spending money for the sake of spending it.
