I am looking for my first AR

I have narrowed it down to CORE 15, Sig M400, or the S&W MP15 (I already own a MP15-22 and love it)

I have heard good things about all 3. I am leaning towards the Sig but I know wanstalls has a good deal on the CORE 15 Piston one with the 5 pmags and its the same price as the Sig. Frontier has the MP 15 Sport on sale for leo/mil and is a lot cheaper.

Any opinions?

Thanks

I was also deciding between those 3 and ended up with the Core15. So far no regrets, shoots well with no issues. Upper/Lower fit is super tight as it should be. I was really leaning the way of the S&W due to price but many, many, many hours of reading reviews on all 3 made me go with the Core.

I vote the Core15 in piston.. I got the DI version and love it. Would have saved up for the piston model but the budget was a little tight and I also won't be able to enjoy the advantages less than a year from now. The DI is so nice and light that the piston upper will probably put you in the regular AR weight class lol

It was a toss up for me between Core and Sig M400 too. I chose the M400 enhanced with MOE furniture. The pMag deal is sweet, but I figured I was gonna get LAR mags anyway so it wasn't a selling feature. Very happy with the Sig, has QD point machined into both sides of receiver and MBUS rear sight. Shipped to my door for $1350 from an Alberta shop. I couldn't resist.

I finally got to physically handle the Sig M400 at Lanz yesterday. I've got to say, I'm liking 'em. I like the ambi mag release, larger bolt release, nice upper/lower fit and light weight.
