I have recently decided to build my first AR15 and am going with a stripped DPMS lower but was wondering if it is worth going with a "higher end" LPK - say a DD or etc - versus an inexpensive one, or does anyone have a recommendation on a good LPK to go with?

Thanks for the input!

Eagle Hunting Supplies has Strike Industries builders kit for $60, it doesn't come with trigger assembly and grip, since pretty much everybody replaces them anyways. companies like Daniel Defense and Colt don't make their own pins or wound their own springs they all source them from the same suppliers by the tonnes.

Check out arms east, not sure if they still have them in stock but they did have "builders" LPK's (no grip or trigger) for like 70 bucks. Great deal especially considering most people upgrade the mil spec trigger and A2 grip.
