Hey guys, just thought I would share some pictures, of my Carbon 15 AR and my 597 VTR, both purchased mid December.

When I went to pay for the Carbon 15 a shipment of VTR's came in, so I picked one of those up to play with while I waited for my ATT to come in..

Here it is with a clear 30rd mag painted black, and a "TruForce" cheap holo sight that will soon dissapear

Scope purchased for my Steyr SBS, so my old scope (Leupold 3-9x40) goes on the VTR.. (New scope is a 6.5-20x50)

Eotech sight comes in (before I even get the rifle!!)

ATT is here, rifle is here.

Couldn't stand the 5/30 magazine, so I found a 10rd alternative made for a LAR-9 pistol, shipped some mags direct from the manufacturer, and imported them myself.. picked up a Tapco stock on the way home..

Then added a quad rail, foldable CAA Vertical Grip, CAA Hand Grip, M3X Light.

What do you guys think? Next thing I plan is a 4x eotech magnifier, a gas block with foldable sight, and I believe the rifle is finished :)

You mean magazines like the ones Questar LEGALLY exports from the USA. https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopexd.asp?id=489

It must be fun just to "import things yourself." Ship to the border, drive through, completely ignoring all State Dept. export paperwork required on the USA side.

I am not a company, therefore not a "exporter". Mags were purchased as a consumer, declared at the border as a consumer, and paid duties for on by a consumer. Please get your facts straight, before you go off and accuse people.

Oh, and just a FYI, since you clearly are misinformed:
Certain parts are restricted for export by the United States Government. Barrels, barrel blanks, bolt assembly and cylinders, receivers, frames, bolts, and high capacity magazines-magazines over 10 rounds but below 20 may require an import license for the country of destination. Magazines 20 rounds and larger are only for military, government and police agencies and require an end user certificate. Additionally, certain models are also restricted. For a complete list of models that are restricted or that require additional licensing please click on the link below.
All Foreign orders where the parts total is over $100 requires an import permit. (Note: Canada has a $500 parts limit)

Happy importing!
