I just bought the lee anniversary kit, lyman 303 dies.. Loaded up 150 grain sierras with 45 grains of H414. I think it turned out pretty good all in all... The only problem I had was lube dents on some cases. The rifle is a 1941 lithgow 303 bubbad with a bushnell 1x4 scope at 100 yrds

Pretty good, even your worst group would be a dead deer. How is the headspace, I've heard 303's can be a little rough on brass due to that. The lube dents get ironed out with shooting, more care not to lube the shoulders, and keep the die clean will prevent those. Did you only try the one charge? You will, of course, need to fiddle around with that. From start charge to max in .5gr increments, then .2gr increments with your best loads, to find the ideal weight. Once you've got that, it's time to work on seating depth, etc. etc. etc.

Welcome to our sickness. :)

not sure on the headspace. I only had the one load out this morning to make sure everything was working good...next I will take out some different loads... I love this reloading so far....

That's not too bad at all considering the rifle / scope. The trigger alone on that Bubba'd enfield could opening up some of your groups. Like mentioned fine tuning the load can also help.

I shot a few groups yesterday that wouldn't bother taking pictures of and much less post on the internet. :D

and on another note,,Loogie,,,,I bet you shot those at EESA,,,,and if you did,,I was there when you shot them,,LOL,,,and I bet if you let the barrel cool down between shot's,,,maybe 4-5 min between shot's,you would probably see tighter groups,,,I felt the barrel and it was dam hot,,,,,,,,,and I even heard you complain once the you could see the heat mirage coming off your barrel through your scope,,LOL,,,,,LET 'ER COOL MAN !!!!! LOL,,,anyway's I'll see you at the range again,,probably this weekend for the open house
