So it's been like 16yrs or so that I haven't been out deer hunting and started getting back into it when I moved to Quebec 3yrs ago.
My first two years here hunting deer were basically snowed out. Last year we had 1.5' of snow at the same time last year and the deer had already moved off my property.
This year the Gods smiled on me and not only did I get drawn for a doe tag but we got a warm spell just as the season started so they were still around.
Felling so happy and thankfully to put some red meat in the freezer this year besides our pigs and chickens.
The shot for me was perfect, she went about 100'. Shot entered just in front of her right leg and exited out just behind the left leg.
