First Deer!

Well, after a week of hunting, I walked away with my first deer. After he was gutted and cleaned, he weighed in at 165 LBS. Would have been a 6 pointer, but one side looks like it broke off a year or so ago. Overall, our camp got 3 bucks and a doe. Mikes buck being the biggest. 200 some LBS with an 8 point rack. Yes, there is no snow in Mikes pic, he shot it a few days before mine.

Unless deer don't shed there horns in Ontario I can pretty much guarantee that the horn was broken off much sooner than a year ago.

Seriously though, good job on your hunting trip. Feels good don't it

Nice Deer, both of them. I dunno about how sporting it was though, as it looks like both deer had their hands up and were surrendering when they got shot

I remember my first deer like it was yesterday.

Sould be a real good eater on tne BBQ
