I have been shooting and loading enough to feel it was worthwhile to upgrade to a progressive setup. My history has been with single stage equipment, first an entry level Lee and then a Lyman Crusher press. I've loaded close to 10,000 rounds this way and while I still enjoy loading, I don't have the time I need to keep up.
Anyway, after much research I settled on the Dillon Square Deal B with all the bells and whistles. I load 45 and 40 cal so I bought a conversion kit and an extra toolhead. Calibre changes are super easy - after swapping dies in and out of a single stage press all the time, changing the toolhead, plate and primer setup doesn't seem like much of an inconvenience. Also, after single stage loading for so long, the ease and speed of loading on the Dillon have me simply in awe.
Anyway, the press is so well designed and easy to use - I am very impressed and highly recommend to anyone looking for a very high quality pistol loading press that won't break the bank.
