first go at service rifle

I had the pleasure of meeting some great guys at the Service Rifle match today. I have never fired a "black" rifle before today. I came out with my 7mm Magnum, and nobody laughed. I got encouragement and an offer to borrow rifles from a couple of guys I just met. "Um....you want to just hand over that expensive looking piece of gear? Heck yeah I'll try it!" Thanks to everyone I met out there today for making me feel welcome.

You did good with it too. For being handed a rifle with only rough come ups, and ammo that had not been fired through it, you were scoring clear hits.

I don't remember your final score, but you can hold your head high.
