First Grouse of the year!

Got my first and second grouse of the year today!

Shot them both on the wing... Only had to pick 4 pellets out of the second one. What a rush! Was a great day out in the woods with the wife though. And now we have some birds for Thanksgiving.

Good for you! I was out deer hunting today and all I saw was grouse...

Grouse/bird hunting is quickly becoming my favorite. I just wish there were more around. I have yet to get two in one day though. Congrats.
