My first handgun a Ruger 22 Auto bought new 1962.
My latest toy a Ruger Redhawk 4.2" 45 Colt bought Dec. 2nd.

That Redhawk is sweeeeet!! Where did you get it? I didn't know that you could get one in .45 Colt as you could really load those up in a Redhawk!

Fellas, I bought the Redhawk from Shooters Choice / The Gun Room in Waterloo, and I have to tell you I'm having more fun than a barrel of monkeys with it.
Two clicks of elevation put it on the bull @ 25 yds., and at 75 yds. I can wreak havoc on a bag of tennis balls.
No recoil and accurate as heck it is a big gun.
I'll try and post a pic with another toy for comparison.
The 45 Colt is a fine round that would suit anyone because you can go from mild to wild and everything in between all the while with cast bullets.

Here it is with my Mod.28 which is a big revolver and the Redhawk is a good half pound heavier....
