Not wanting to bring up the old thread again (since I haven't been on for a while) I am still looking around at what options I have for my first handgun, for target and IPSC (so semi and 9mm or over) and in my price range ($800 or less) and I noticed a couple that interested me, one was the CZ-75 champion (although I do not need a 'competition' gun as my first, I'm pretty sure the muzzle break would be nice to have) and I aslo like the looks of it, and the other was the Magnum Research Baby Eagle in 9mm. Can anyone tell me about these? I have heard really good things about the CZ's but would still like to keep my options open, and I do not think I want a glock because I do not like the looks and would prefer metal over plastic. I really like the look of Sigs, but I believe they are way out of my price range
I am taking my restricted right away and then will want to take the Black Badge, but I need my own gun for that so I will be in the market for a handgun soon..... Again, like I mentioned before, I will go to Wolverine to take a look around as well.
BTW, I am open to different calibers as well, but I need 9mm or larger caliber for IPSC, but it seems like 9mm is the way to go.....(BTW I want a caliber that is readily available)
Thanks
