Weird man, says $1799 on sale for $1529 for me, but if I try to cart it the sale disappears.

The sale was last month $200 off Sako Beretta Benneili Stoeger. That's when I purchased for $1529

I hear ya on the exchange. USD 1000 converted to CAD is $1356.19. All the customs paperwork and Stoeger likes money too. The MAP of $1605 for an A300 is not unreasonable I don't recall the MSRP.

The Mossberg is more than adequate & the new pro tactical is lower in price than the patrol. People should look into that one too.

I was hoping it would come in price wise at or just above the a300 ultima. At $1610 from alfhalertys I'd just buy a 1301t or any number of the like new comps on the used market around the 1400 mark with out tax

Cheaper than a 1301T, even if you buy during the promotion @ $1,649.99

Same reason people that get the extension for the 1301T

Beretta 1301 tactical was being sold during that sale at $1584 a week ago.
Cheaper than the A300 patrol.

With imports, if an individual export costs $200, why do folks think importers don't get hit with similar stupid government money makers. We have a huge FSA to support.

Information for all:

The current MAP holiday does not include the 1301T. DM if you want that info backed up. Also, MAP for Black is $1800 and MSRP is $1905. FDE, OD & stainless MAP are $2000 and MSRP is $2120.

While the a300 maybe a good gun the 1301 is built in a different action. I personally believe the blink system is superior. Faster and less recoil. While I haven't shot the patrol I've shot every other model of the A300.

the main difference is the bolt and recoil assembly. The A300 does not have a rotating bolt like the 1301 or m4.
