No info in English as of yet, hope you guys can read Italian;)

(Claudio Bigatti)

Tikka submit to the Villepinte hall the new version "light sniper weapon" of the famous bolt action T3 : thought for the sector Law enforcement is in .308 Winchester / 7,62x51 and modular aluminum chassis. The skeletonized football is adjustable and folding, but in addition to the proprietary version, can be fitted with any other butt Ar 15 compatible. Same goes for the front rod and the handle: both replaceable with common accessories for Black rifle.
At the moment are two versions available: one with a 16-inch barrel and a 20-inch barrel of the weight respectively of 4,950 grams and 5,100 grams; the detachable wired charger has capacity of 10 shots, shooting is single stage with adjustable weight snap between 1,000 and 2,000 grams. The more compact version with 16-inch barrel measuring 645 mm with folded football, while the version with 20-inch barrel, size of 1011 mm with an open football. The accuracy of the weapon according to the company, is less than the Moa with employment of munitions Match. (Claudio Bigatti)

too heavy for my taste unfortunately. If they offer light weight accessories and barrels in future that got it down to the 6-7lb range they would have a winner. 16" barrel is perfect length for BC hunting

Need to convince stoeger to bring in set trigger versions as well.

Hunting in British Columbia was probably pretty low on the list of design considerations and FYI set triggers suck. They have no practical advantage over a well set up single stage and more than a few disadvantages.

I have yet to experience the disadvantages you speak of

Looks much heavier than the current TikTac. A platform to market more dodads to sell you to put on your rifle (e.g. rails etc.).

only one I see is the brake, what else is sako proprietary?

The butt pad is from a TRG-22, as is the muzzle brake as well as the mag (granted they now go for 150$ USD instead of 250$ USD).
Considering that the pre-orders for the new Ranger rifle are 2500$+ I can't see this rifle being any cheaper. Too bad though.

Looks good. It give buyer another option for that type of rifle. The biggest minus for me would be the caliber choice... 308 is good, but its outdated. Something in 6.5 (6.5-47, 260 or 6.5 Creedmoor) would be interesting
