First mags... now Bolt Carrier Groups???

So mag prices went up, and I thought wow! Then I stumbled across this on fleabay and I thought "Holy mother of god!!!"

Am I missing something? Seem like any other F/A BCG that would go for $150 to $250 around here.

Just bought a complete RRA on EE for $850 lol.
Starting to think this is a massive conspiracy by the firearms manufacturers to ramp up demand make out with tonnes of money and on the 11th hour swoop in and beat the anti-gun lobby back to the hippy commune from once they have come.
 
Have you tried to buy a bcg in canada recently? They are almost unobtainium. Sfrc got 20 NEA brand, and I believe they sold them all in a couple of days. The situation is much worse in the US, so I can see higher prices down there.

Hard to get? Maybe. Unobtainium? Not so much. Mind you I've got 3 AR friendly gun stores within 15 minutes of me so maybe I'm just lucky. Either way, a milspec Bolt Carrier Group isn't worth 600 + bucks.

I agree it's not worth that much. I'm in Nova Scotia, almost all gun shopping must be done online, and I can assure you that I checked all of the cgn sponsors daily for a couple of weeks before I got any in stock BCG's. The retailers I emailed to ask when they would get some said none available for the forseeable future. Luckily NEA came thru.
 
I am not really that surprised… considering I just scavenged for one a little over a month ago… at that time the general advice on the US forums was to get on BCM’s email list and hope you get lucky, which was before Sandy Hook…
 
this is why im glad I took some very good advice from older, wiser members on here, and stocked up all the parts I would need for the life time of my guns ages ago...

except for ejectors for my m&p.... those I have had back ordered for over a year.... WTF BROWNELLS!
 
Well, I'm down to just needing a charging handle and a gas tube to complete this build, then come assembling everything. LPK already installed. After this one, I think I'm going to start a new build, but go slower and not panic about getting whatever part is available at that time.
 
Yup, it's ridiculous. I'm missing a few parts for my build as well, hoping they come back into stock on Brownells... Really wanted one of those black melonited gas tubes from Spikes....
