I sold my 99 savage 243 to a nephew, who really wanted it, and I was left with a bunch of brass, bullets, etc Yesterday I was in the local store and saw a 111 savage on sale, and brought it home. It was a 2008 model, judging by to stuff in the pamphlets. It was either that or sell the 243 stuff, and I am a lot better at collecting than I am at selling.
First new rifle...
