I finally had a chance to take my tacti-cool 10/22 out today. I was shooting American Eagle ammo at 50 yards. These are two 5 shot groups and one 10 shot group. These were the best ones. I'm going to try to get out some day when there is no wind and use a better rest.

Nice shooting!! Especially for first time out in the year!

I wish I could shoot my 10/22 more. I have been out probably about 60 times since the start of the year and have only shot my Ruger once.
 
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Once I started to shoot I realized how long it had been and that it is in fact a skill that can get rusty if unused. What I found weird, and maybe it was just the first few groups that I shot that made it that way was that the Mini Mags I had didn't group worth a poop. I'm guessing it was due to my not having shot for a long time. I'm going to put up a 25M air rifle target in the back yard of my next house.
 
One thing too keep in mind however is that just because one ammunition shoots well in one condition it might not shoot well in another. I often swith my ammunition in the various seasons.
 
I shot this group @ 50M last year, or maybe even the year before (and pulled the fifth shot badly) with Mini Mags, but with a different stock. The stock I'm using now isn't free floated. Except for the last round I was pretty impressed seeing as it's a semi auto.
