Hello All,

I just ordered my very first firearm. A CZ Shadow 2, Canadian Edition. I am wondering what else I need to get. I ordered a Hoppes Viper Bore snake, but wondering if there is a big difference in gun oils?

I have a pack of snap caps, what other goodies do I need?
 
See above, a can of G96, a little tube of gun grease, and a can of oil, a pistol rod with a bronze 38 cal brush, a mop, and cleaning patches, or wipes , old tee shirt and cut some out, and I use the mop with them, rather than mess with jags, Just set a patch over the end of barrel and push throu with the mop The bronze brush when it is real bad.
The tooth brush when you want to clean the rails , with the G96.
A lot of new guys , clean way to much, I think, I wipe the out side off with old rag, run a patch , if it will be not used for a while, Than do good cleaning and lube.
A few people have real sweaty hands ,if you are one , use the cleaner on the steel frame, as the salts will rust the steel, seen it on 2 or 3 guns I have had in. not a problem with poly guns.
