I pick up my restricted firearm about 2 months ago and I was wondering why I haven't received a call from my local police department to inspect my safes or have an interview. Am I in trouble? I'm not sure where you got the idea that you need to have your stuff inspected but you don't. If there is ever an inspection, the inspecting agency (local police/RCMP) have to contact you and make an appointment. And you won't be asked to be inspected UNLESS you actually are a bad boy.

The Chief Firearms Officer contacted me and wanted a scanned copy of my range membership when I purchased my first restricted firearm.

that has to do with an att not just a purchase. you don't need a range membership unless you want to actually use your guns.
