First Restricted Gun

Just got my first restricted gun in the mail today, i ordered it online from a dealer. No papers came with it for registration, so since i bought it from a dealer does it automatically get transferred to my name or do i have to call/go online to register the gun? I have my ATT already i gotten it when i got my Rpal.

when i go online it asked for a verifier etc.

You'll receive the registration paper in the mail from the RCMP in a week or so. The transfer to your name was started by the dealer and yes it's automatic from that point on, no calls necessary. Further to this, are you sure you have your ATT? I don't know what magical province you live in but I was not able to get mine until after my "first restricted gun". Keep that in mind if you think you're covered, because you might not be.

I think you need the registration # of the gun to get your ATT and a RPAL # to buy the gun. So getting your ATT with your RPAL in the mail is kinda funny. Someone got ahead of themselves somewhere lol

my att and my rpal came the same day. att is good until 2018 and is good for any gun range. in newfoundland. I thought it was funny i called to check the status of my Rpal and the lady gave me a fax number to send in for my att. i did that figuring i would have to call in to start the att when i bought my gun. but when i called they told me they already did my att and mailed it same day as my rpal. and in the envelope with the att it say i will receive my registration in a week or so
