Others you might want to look at are the Browning Gold Winchester SX3 semi-automatics. They are virtually identical guns. Despite my own preference for the Berettas, the Winchester/Browning guns are also good products.
I'd suggest avoiding Remington and Benelli. Remington has recurrent quality control issues and the Benellis while excellent guns are recoil operated and don't handle light target loads as well as the gas-operated guns and have more felt recoil.
Because your primarily looking for a clay target gun you won't likely need a 3-1/2" chamber.
While pump guns are less expensive it is more difficult to shoot skeet with them. If you are just getting into the clay target game you have enough to learn without the additional handicap of having to remember to pump the action on doubles.
