picked up one of these for 400$ brand new in box today. Anyone else own these? what are your thoughts on it?. i was told by a fellow member of one of the clubs im in who works at Al Simmons that these guns are best broken in with 3 inch magnum slugs. He also said Al simmons is the warranty repair center for Hatsan which is convenient for me:d

Great shotguns!! Loved mine and regret selling it!! Check the pic rail screw!!! Mine came loose a few times! Lock tight is the answer!

I have one of these (non camo) that I'm in the process of tarting up. It ran right off the hop with target loads, no malfunctions, although they don't kick out very far. I lube with atf, very lightly, and that's it. I wouldn't run it 500 rounds before cleaning though. I had a buddy that bought one and had problems after disassembly and cleaning, but I'm thinking it was the o-ring.

How many does the factory tube hold on yours?

dont know. havent recieved it in the mail yet. how many should it hold ? :)

Escorts hold four Optima's 5 from what I've heard.
Don't run it dry like someone said. If you have issues with target loads polish the mad tube where the gas piston slides an it will help a lot!!

Al Simmons may offer to fix the firearm for you, but the authorized repair/warranty depot is Carman Willows.
