Good morning folks,

Just signed in this forum. Im from the Rimouski , Quebec area and i own a few handguns and rifle. I own a Ruger .22 a CZ 75B 9mm and a Beretta 92 FS. And i am trying to buy right now an AR-15 but its been since October 31st that i have closed the cession and i am still waiting for an answer from the RCMP. Next week it will be 4 weeks that i am waiting. Is this situation familliar to the members that bought an AR-15 before?

What are you waiting on? RPAL, or restricted registration? Have they called your references? Assuming everything is in order, 1 month is exactly what it took for me. You should be hearing from them soon I think.

As far as i know they have not called my references yet. But as you said i will wait untill the end of next week. It looks to me that they arnt in a hurry to send the paper work. But what the heck i can do to make pressure on them when they are the one with the power.

Salut, Québec_shooter, moi je suis de Matane et je possède un Glock 17 et quelques armes non restreintes (870 tacticool, Enfield no.4mk1, Mosin-Nagant M44, SKS). Si tu a des questions n'hésite pas a me contacter par message privé. Aussi ca me ferais plaisir d'essayer ton Beretta et ton CZ, deux armes qui m'intéresse au plus haut point! Si tu vient a Matane tu peut me voir chez stereo plus.

Je crois qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de stratégies que tu peut prendre pour assitez au processus. Peut-être un appel avec une demmande pour une estimation du temps requis pour qu'ils l'approvent. La politesse toujours au téléphone avec eux.
