Just got back from the Eastern F class Comp.
It was a great experience. For a noob, I found everyone to be very friendly and very welcoming.
The whole weekend was really a seminar on how to shoot with excellence.
I won the Best new shooter award thanks to the teachings of Bob Raymond at the ORA
And the coaching of the Chou brothers. ( Provincial and National Champs)

If you are new to shooting it's a good idea to take Bob Raymond's winter course at the ORA
(Ontario Rifle Association). He is a gifted teacher. You can see where to sign up on the ORA website.
His teachings will take 4-5 years off of learning the hard way. There are only 22 spots so sign up early.

The Chou brothers are also excellent gunsmiths and built the rifle that I used. Check it out at the link below.

You want to be an excellent shot at long distance? AND have a lot of fun? Learn how to shoot "F" class.
I'll be going to every competition that I can.

Now an "f" Class Junkie

Congrats on your first Eastern Comp. F-class is pretty addicting.

Man the Chou brothers are expert marksmen and have gunsmithing skills as well?!?! Almost unfair ;) Man I wish I could develop that kind of skill on and off the field.

There's no reason why you can't. There's an old Buddhist saying "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
It might sound corny but it is true. I started with two books. "The secrets of mental marksmanship" and "The wind book" Both by Linda Miller and Keith Cunningham. They will put you on the pathway. See you on the 1,000 yd line.

We're really glad you were able to come up, and you couldn't have picked a better group of coaches.

You shot very well this weekend, especially considering it was your first time at Connaught. Congrats on your win, and I look forward to seeing you back next year!

it was a great pleasure to meet you and hopefully see you again on the range. Chou brother are awsome shooters but even better human being. They share every thing to someone who want to learn !
