Just got back from my first ever effort at shooting sporting clays.

The veteran members who took me on the course were just super generous with a greenhorn, patient and full of valuable advice for a new guy.

Thank you Jack, Louie, Ken and Wayne.

I'm hooked. Now I just have to improve on 17 out of 50.

Gotta tell the Mrs. I just absolutely have to have a new Beretta semi-auto or over under for Chrstmas.
 
Sounds like you had a blast shooting there. I'm still trying to get into trap and was wondering how much does it cost for shooting there?
 
Thats great to here. It is always good for a new guy to get good help, then there are more new guys, and so on and so on......
I hope to get out that way one day soon, it sounds like a nice club to shoot at.

It's $10.00 for a day pass, $10.00 per 50 clays (one go round) and $6.00 per box of 25 shells.

After the first round the guys asked me to go with them again and I did, even though I hadn't planned on spending that much on my first ever day, but it was such a good experience with good guys I couldn't pass up the second round.
