Hey guys. I’m planning my first 10/22 build using the dlask tuff receiver. I’ve done some searching around but I can’t find a parts kit to complete the receiver. Should I just buy a donor gun and strip it or is there a distributor who sells the internals (trigger, bolt, etc). Thanks guys. Looking forward to this build. Any help is appreciated.

I would buy the barreled action from Dlask and trigger from wherever you feel you want to spend $. And honestly the improved trigger from Ruger (I think its the BX?) Is pretty good for the money. I think I got my last one on sale at Cabelas with free shipping. Everything Dlask makes is good quality and their barrels shoot, unless you already had another barrel planned. I would say that everything Dlask makes is better than Ruger, reciever, bolt, charging handle etc. They used to do trigger jobs as well.
I would give them a call to see what they can put together for you.

I bought a 10/22 during the Boxing week sales, put my hands on it and turned around and sold it... I would build from scratch and source good pieces rather than a donor rifle. You will find there isnt really anything to keep off the donor gun in the end. Anything OEM you are going to have to modify to perform well.

A barreled action would work great, But I couldn’t find any on their site.

I’d call Dlask and see what they have. I’m sure they would sell you a barreled action. Leigh is a little gruff but he’s actually a good guy to deal with. It might make more sense to buy a barreled receiver with a Dlask bolt, pins amd probably a trigger from them. They might even have a stock you like

I had Dlask put mine together.

Leigh is a great guy but you should sort of know what parts you want when you call them. Browse their website, figure out what you want then give them a call. They're great people.

I went with the upgraded Ruger trigger, Dlask Bolt, Dlask 12.5" barrel and then bought a magpul stock from HiCal.

It's a nice little carbine.

*If anyone has an old stock 10/22 receiver, I'm looking for one!

What kinda accuracy are you getting outta it? I'm in the process of roughly the same build

On the bench, off a front rest only with a PA 1x6 with a .22LR reticle the best I can do is 0.6" - 0.7" at 50 yards with CCI Minimag 40gr RN.

But I don't shoot much so maybe a better shooter would do it better.

Save yourself time and agony and just call them with a list of what you want and have them put it together for you. Itll be better built and cheaper in the long run , plus it will be the gun you seek the first time. Im talking about Dlask of course.
