Hi all,
I am looking to purchase a center fire for probably deer hunting and target practice
So I am asking for your input on a good "snorter gun" not looking to break the bank
thanks.

The key is budget.

Are you looking for new or used?

All things to consider. The other thing to think about is each Province has regulations on caliber size for Deer or game. Check the Regulations for your area, then that will lead you in the right direction.

How much target and how much hunting do you plan to do? Check the shell costs which may also lead you in a different direction.

Everyone has their own likes and disikes in calibers so you have to make that decision for yourself. You may actually go through a few rifles and calibers before you find what you really like and shoots best for you. You may want to look for something that is quite common and easy to re-sell if you want to change. Remington 700, Winchester 70, etc.

Pick one, learn it, enjoy it and most off all be safe!
