I got this CIL Anshutz 310 a month ago from Prophet River. Put a leupold 6.5-20x40mm efr I got through the EE last week on top with some high Tally rings from Nordic Marksmen. Had to sand out the stock a bit as the barrel was touching in one spot. Now it is free floated. Adjusted the trigger pull a bit but it still needs some work. Today was my first time shooting it.

Shot at 50m using Aguila SuperExtra 40g. Very happy with my results. I'm going to have to work on my skills because I can tell my groups would have been better if could just stay still. So far this rifle is more accurate than I can shoot it. My best group so far, the 1 flyer was my fault.

The squares on the targets measure in at 13/16"

That's a nice rifle and scope. To improve your very promising results, try ammo that is better than Aguila such as the SK Standard Plus suggested above. Even CCI Standard Velocity ammo should do better. In addition, consider getting a dedicated front rest and rear bags to get the most of your good rifle and optics.

Ya, I would love to try Sk but no one local sells it and I don't feel like paying shipping if I don't have to. I did pick up 50 shots of ELEY contact to try out next time. CCI standard I can get in my area, I'll grab some and give it a try too.

As for the poor front rest, that's what was available at the time. Next time I'll make sure I better rest and some bags handy. This was more a trial run to get used to the rifle.
