First time out with my eldest daughter Rosie

When we will really be in trouble is when Rosie and Julia find a way to go hunting together.

Great idea. If and when that happens ill make sure we bring Julia's old Remington 870 along. Maybe Julia can give Rosie some pointers. Great latest video btw,( sighting in the rifle) we're making rabbit stew as well.

I was wondering where that one went............good for you if I think I know what you think yer gonna dew with it.

More videos..............................:dancingbanana:

Of course she wants to go again. Kids love that stuff. I feel for the kids whose parents aren't hunters. They miss out on so much. Unfortunately it's hard to get so many grown ups to understand hunting is not about killing something. Way to go, good on you. I am sure you two will make many more fond memories in the years ahead. Congratulations.

Those are the memories that I cherish the most. My first hunt, fishing trip, teaching me to ride a dirt bike and my first quad ride. Hopefully she would too. Nothing more important than passing the torch down to the next generation.

I took my little girl on her first hunt (truck hunt... I know I know, but it's the only way you can take a 2yo hunting in November). I managed to shoot my Draw Mule Deer while she was with my wife and I. I have shot some big animals but this small doe topped them all because I have my two ladies with me.

Can't wait to take her in a blind with me when she's old enough, in the meantime shed hunting with her will do!!!

I don't go out without my little buddy. She loves coming out. She's there for birds, deer, and fishing. We'll be trying for coyotes here soon after the 15th when we take the ice shack off. A new hunting partner is on the way as well!

The best thing about hunting for me now is sharing it with my kids. You guys look like your having good fin, enjoy the time together.

Lol i love the backpack! I think my little girl has the same one. (Or is that the one she had last year for kindergarten?..)

I can't wait to take the kids out hunting. Im not sure my wife would allow me to bring a 6 year old bear hunting in a few weeks though...

Truth be told, i didnt ask my wife, me knowing her answer. She was ticked when i got back but she got over it in a couple hours. Something about asking for forgiveness rather than permission...ymmv.
