Hello all, hope this is the right place to post this.
I acquired my PAL about 10 years ago, (unrestricted and restricted). I've only ever purchased rifles up to this point.
During my safety course I remember the instructor mentioning there is a process to buying a restricted pistol which involves contacting RCMP and having a transportation paper printed with you from point A to point B.
But I mentioned this to a buddy of mine and he said that it is not like that anymore.
I would like to go to Cabellas and purchase a Glock. Can someone please explain the process to me? Is there papers or phone calls needed? Is there a waiting period? Or can I just show my PAL and buy it and go home same day?
Thanks for any advice guys and gals.
