First time shooting clays today.

Took my new Winchester SXP 12ga to my fathers farm today to try out shooting clays.

We bought 100 round federal bulk pack shells, hand thrower and a box of clays. We were surprised how fast you go through them! Granted it was my first time shooting my new gun, and first time shooting clays, I only got 3 straight but we had a tonne of fun!

I can see this becoming an addicting hobby!

Apparently it is prohibited to discharge firearms on my father's farm out in Pickering figures.

haha, I can see how people in pickering would mind.... outskirts of peterborough though... they encourage practicing... come winter, its all about coyote hunting in the area

Yea but the farms on the outskirts of pickering, on highway 7 out west. past brougham.

damn i'm jealous. wish I could freely practice.
