Took my new SKS out shooting. I used that Chinese boxed ammo I got to see if it functions well. Its an SKS after all. They will pretty much eat anything and since its a Chinese SKS with Chinese ammo, they go well together like beef brisket and rice. I also got a bayonet screw for the gun today from a fellow CGN'er. There is a lot of great people on this website and a fellow from the Caribou region of BC is one of them. Its nice having the gun as it was originally meant to be. Thank you again.

Anyways, here is the first 20 rounds fired out of the rifle. Forgot my phone to take pictures while I was out there so had to take them when I got back home. I'd love to say this target was 100 meters away but it was 25 meters off my range finder shooting from standing position. The rest of the shooting consisted of soda cans, cracker box, and a McDonald fries holder. (I didn't leave that mess out there in the woods if any of you are wondering.)

This is the ammunition I was using that I still currently know very little about other than that is went bang every time.

Finally this is the new bayonet screw.

Good shooting, glad you got the screw to make it "complete" again. Sometimes it is the littlest pieces that are the hardest to find.
