Nothing here, did not even hear one. Heard 2 shots, one to my east and way to the south. Both sounded about a farm away.

Congrats.:needPics:

Lots of gobbling where I was. I got a young bird with a 5 1/2" beard at quarter to eight this morning. There were 3 other jakes and 4 hens with him. A load of chilled #4s. No fancy turkey load just a plain old Remington Express duck load, but at 10 yards he didn't have a chance. That is what thinking with the little head got him.

Didn't hear a peep at all this morning. Didn't see anything either. No response to the call. Lots of rain here last night and the forest was very wet. Was quite entertained by the woodpeckers though.

congrats! where is your area? and nope. not a thing delhi way.

my father-in-law and i went out yest and had 4 males and a couple of hens roosted in the next field, males were gobbling until on the ground and i started to hear the hens clucking. i and my fake decoys were no match for the real thing i guess!!! stayed for a few hours then we got too warm and came home.

went out to the same spot this morning, a little earlier this morning, started calling and all i could hear was 3-4 males and we couldn't see them. they were south across a 15-20 foot river in another field. we could hear them come down from the roost in the field south of us across the river and with about 50 feet of bush in between. they ended up coming through the bush crossed the river and came within 10 feet behind us in a field we don't have permission to hunt. 2 of the males ended up coming into our field and it was over early this morning @ 5:45. mine had a 9 1/4" beard with 1" spurs and the father-in-laws had 9" beard and 3/4" spurs. he didn't want to be in the picture. (i guess he's camera shy) we're hunting just outside of cornwall. good luck to everyone.

Heard lots of gobbles and eventually found 6 nice toms with hens, but they just would break the 75 yard mark... I know where they are and I will be back :)
