It was my second day out this year, Both times were afternoon hunts and the turkeys were already out in the field eating. I crawled into my spot and made a few calls, the flock circled around me a few times, then they all slowly walked back into the forest. After about an hour wait with nothing showing up, i was just getting ready to leave, when the tom showed up strutting back out to me all alone. I set up 1 decoy and made a call. He came strutting right for me. He was about 8-10 yards before he stop strutting and lifted his head up for a good shot. he was 22.5lbs with a 9" beard and 1" spurs. Now its my turn to jump on the video camera and calls for my dad to bag one!
