Fish and Game Activity Calender? Newbie Question

So I was looking through my issue of "Ontario Out of Doors" when I noticed a "Fish and Game activity Calender". Now I'm pretty green when it comes to hunting so I'm curious: Are these calenders useful? Can they increase my success? How do you read them (AM/PM Peaks?)? If not useful, when is the best time to be hunting?

Bear in mind I'm hunting rabbits this year.

They are useful. I have personally seen fish swim out of rocks everywhere at the exact time the calender predicts. However, weather and current conditions would dictate what's happening at your locations.

Just be in your best spot around that time.

The best time to be hunting is whenever you can. Even if you don't get anything, you'll learn more being in the bush that behind a keyboard.
