SO, my buddy bought a Grady White 21' boat afew years ago that was in decent shape, but then he decided to renovate. He gutted it, had a rear transom built for it, installed a brand new 225 Yamaha and a 8HP Yamaha kicker and did up the rest, too. He wanted to take it for a trial run in Bamfield on Vancouver Island, so my buddy Roba nd I agreed to be guinea pigs.

Steve, wiht the first fish hooked (and lost!!)

All in all it was a great trip, we hooked lots of fish, landed some fish, kept some and let some go....Our retained catch included coho, chinook, cod, and halibut...

I will never agina take a BC ferry wihtout a reservaton, except 6AM ferries, and next time I go to Bamfield I'll check to make sure that the pub is open, since it wasn't...Imagine thousands of thirsty fishermen, and the only pub in town is closed for renovations in prime fishing season. What a joke.:runaway:

BC truly is the best place to live on earth.....
