Fitting 3 rounds in 8.5 DA Grizzly

I recall reading somewhere that it is possible to mod the magazine tube to fit 3 shells in an 8.5" DA Grizzly. Anyone done this and is it reliable?

Yes & yes, Used the S&J follower & removed the keeper at the nut, just remember to check the nut occasionally.

Is this the 870 follower with the shaft, or the Mossberg short follower? Do you have them in stock, or should I order from S&J?

The mossberg one will work the best.
