OK. I'm not big, but fairly lanky and need a shotgun with a long LOP and a lot of drop in the stock. It's to the piont that nothing really fits. The one shotgun I have tried that fit me well was a Browning XS special with a parallel stock. I'm almost resigned to the fact that I should just pick up a shotgun to my liking and install an adjustable butt plate and a high rib. Anyone else in this boat? Am I missing something in my thought process?
I'm presently shooting a Beretta A400 with and adjustable butt plate that increases the LOP about 1" and drops the bit down about 1", but want to move to an O/U to get a heavier gun that swings better.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The first thing I have had to do with my Sporters is to add the thickest KickEez pad I could find. Then I would tweak the stock until they fit. Shave the comb, extend the grip, etc. It is a hassle and they do not look great, but looks are useless if poor gun fit doesn't allow you to shoot properly. I know Browning has released an extra long stock on a Sporter in the last few years. 15 + inch LOP. A good starting point.

Do you know what model that was in or was it an aftermarket stock you could order? I don't mind making a gun fit except that it gets to look like an abomination and looses value if the adjustments are perminant. I also own a fixed choke Rem 1100 that is getting a Graco adjustable butt plate. It's heavier and swings well, but as I said earlier I ultimately want an O/U. I don't want to drop $3G on a gun and start butchering it.

It was called the Browning 725 Sporter Long Length of Pull 16". Browning homepage says discontinued.

Well he can always pick up a decent used model he likes and have it made to fit?! Plus a gun fitter/stock maker could modify an existing stock to fit without breaking the bank or making the gun look out of sorts.
This is what I'm thinking. Find a model that fits me half decent and get it fitted.

I'm 6' 6" tall with fairly long arms and I can shoot any shotgun fairly successfully with an LOP of 14-15 inches. My 20G Wingmaster has a LOP of about 12 1/2 and my thumb hits my glasses when I shoot but I can still hit targets. Are you sure you're not getting fixated on LOP when your issue might be some other aspect of stock fitting. I find my main issue is the longer distance between my eye and my shoulder because of my size means I need a higher comb and a lot of guns normally shoot higher for me than they would for a smaller person.
