fixed mag on a sks?

Can you convert a fixed mag sks into detach mag? If so are there any sites to show you how?

you could but it will require bubbaing the fixed mag and bolt (optional) .... i dont know of a site but i know i can do it ..... it would be cheaper if you bot a duck bill mag .

Tapco duck bill magazines are supposed to be reliable. From what I heard, the other duck bill magazines available leave alot to be desired.

FYI:
Duck bill magazines are the ones you can use in a standard fixed mag. SKS.

The bubba'd rifles take AK47 magazines, as do the SKS-D rifles. Sks-d is a factory SKS designed to take the ak47 magazines. People sell SKS-Ds for more then the standard fixed mag. SKS.

All sks magazines(including the fixed ones) are limited to 5rds(per Canadian law)

SKS questions should be in the "Red Rifles" section btw.
