Looking at the $50 Bushnell rimfire scope for Marlin 795. Should I get the 3-9x32 or the fixed 4x. They are both the same price and its for general plinking and some light bunny huntin'. I'd like to stay in the $50 budget.

9x might be overkill on a .22
I have a bushnell 4x on my 795

I got this no name (marlin) factory scope that came with my 336W. Its a 3-9x32mm. Would it work well with the 795?

I would let my eyes make the decision.
If you can get by with the 4X then that would be the choice.
My eyes don't let me 4X much.
