Hey guys,
Looking to purchase a fixed powered rifle scope for my M305. Looking to reach targets out to 250 yards. I've been juggling the idea of getting either a 6x or a 10x powered scope. I've looked at the Bushnell Elite Tactical 10x40 which has good reviews. I've also done a quick scan of the SWFA Super Sniper scope which I would love to get. I've looked around, but all of the old forums say that the Super Sniper is not exported to Canada. Does anyone know if they have changed this? The Super Sniper would definitely be my primary choice. Does anyone else have any recommendations for fixed powered scopes?

I have the Bushnell Elite Tactical 10X on one M305 and three other guns for use out to 700 yds. They show up used on the EE regularly for about $200 + shipping.

I can't image why one wouldn't be considered an excellent choice for your application.

P.S. on the M305, don't skimp on the scope mount - budget at least $200 for it.

EE = Equipment Exchange.
Read the rules and go apply.

Something fitting for a Norinco would be one of those great bragged
up well sawt after Leupold klones.

Would look simply maaawrvalleyous on it.
More optics fer the moohlah tew.

I have a SWFA SS 10x on my LRB M25 and, yes, it is IMO the best 10x for that rifle out there. Having said that, I have recently run a Burris XCR 10x which was excellent save for some issue with mounting as, ideally, it required a longer rail and I have also used a Bushnell 10x which I always recommend to M14 users as being the most widely available and best value ( mine is now on my Ruger Scout rifle ). So, if you can get the SWFA do so but if you cannot, you won't be disappointed with the Bushnell.

Incidentally, I used to have a ebay supplied Fake Leupold on an old Norc M14 and it really worked well - much to my surprise LOL. Today I have one of those fakes on a .22 - unless held side/side with a real Leupold they are hard to call as being fake.
