fixed scope choices (small)

I am looking to buy a scope for my M6 scout (22hornet)
so far at the top of my list is a leupold FX2.5x20mm ultra light.
can anybody tell me some other ones I should consider? I don't want to go any bigger than a fixed 4x and I would like to keep it under 8 inchest long and fairly compact.

There aren't that many people into scout scopes. I used the standard eye-relief 2.5X FX11 on a couple back to back safaris and didn't care for it at all.

I had IIRC a Burris FF 2.5x 28 mounted on my XLR but felt it was too small and wasn't comfortable shooting it. I upgraded to a Leupold FXII 4x33, nice scope, in low rings it's low to the receiver it shoots and handles great.
