Fixing a No.4 Mag, lips buggered up.

Recently got a No.1 with a no.4 mag crammed in their. I got it out and the lips were a little flat. I tried bending them back, but they are not curved anymore, just flat. I don't want to keep forcing it as I am worried the lips may snap, so i was thinking of heating the lips to soften them up a bit. Will this work?

Any other idea's?

I wouldn't heat them

There must be something you could use as a mandrel and work them with a hammer till they are rounded again.


But now I'm going to have to put that on my to build list
