What is the general consensus on stocks and barrels used for 3 gun ARs? Fixed better than adjustable for 3 gun?

I have a 12.5 AR currently setup with a Magpul ACS-L and im looking at setting it up for 3 gun

Changes im thinking about making are:

Swap the A2 flash hider for an SJC Titan
Swap the 9" samson evo for a 12" rail (brand is unknown yet)
Swap the ACS-L adjustable for possibly the ACE skeleton fixed

Optics wise im using a Vortex strikefire

I do have 14.5" barrel sitting in my gun room so would it be worth it to swap the 12.5 for the 14.5?

I love my VTAC Alpha rail. Tubular rails are definitely the way to go for my shooting style and preferences. Quad rails are too bulky and don't allow for as good of a grip. I do have a modified Larue handstop on it. I have the 13" rail over a 14.5" mid barrel.

ACS stock works well for me, I love the cheekweld. Make sure you get a chance to try a tubular-like stock before dropping the cash for a ACE Skeleton. I prefer adjustable to match how I'm shooting that day - trooper division with a plate carrier requires a shorter stock than my race setup without chest rigs.

For the distance we're shooting at (max of 300y), and with the lack of a minimum power factor, I'd say your 12.5" would be fine. No real advantage to the 14.5" before the extra weight up front. We do have stages where we start inside a "car", so the shorter barrel makes for better handling.

I currently have the 9" samson evo hand guard which is tubular and not a quad rail, and i do find my ACS-L very comfy, ok so those 2 are good along with the barrel

Now i need to ditch the A2 hider but im still worried about how that Titan would look on my 12.5 with a 9" rail (i know i know function over form...but i like to look good while using it)

Maybe look at upgrading the trigger. Other than that you don't need much. I just swapped the rail and brake on my 10.5 from a 7 in dd with crusader brake to a 12 in hera rail and linear compensator...see how it works next match.
