Flare cartridge info needed

Moved and edited from the "ammo" section:

I'm trying to establish a value on a box of 25 "Parker" 44 cal. pistol flares for a friend. These appear to be in good condition, as is the original box pictured below. The cartridges chamber smoothly into a 44Sp/mag revolver, and I think are short enough for 44 Russian.
Any help would be most appreciated,
